A magnificent Golden French Rooster (Coq d’Or), surrounded by the motto of the French Revolution, Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité (Liberty, Equality, Brotherhood) adorns the reverse of this historic coin. Made in 1904 (.1867 troy ounce).
I have a coin just like the description how much is the value?

If (and it's a big if) the coin is really gold, 0.1867 troy ounce x 07.90/ troy ounce = 6.84
There are coins that fit the description that are not gold. I found one selling for .99.
Also be careful. There are a lot of counterfeit gold coins out there to take advantage of high gold prices.

A genuine gold 1904 French 20 Francs “Rooster” would look like the coin in the link below. It is worth bullion value (currently about $205US) or possibly a bit more than that. I hope that helps.
